Walter E. Tylock, of Fredonia, N.Y., age 85, died Tuesday August 2, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. Walter was born on June 29, 1931 in Forestville, N.Y., to the late Benjamin and Ethel Tylock. Walter was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1950-1953. He was a hard working family man, working as a Maintenance Supervisor at Cliff Starr and on the family grape farm. Walter was a long time member of the Kosciuszko Club.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy (nee Towne) Tylock; his two children: Karen (James) Birmingham of North Tonawanda, N.Y. and Michael C. (Jennifer) Tylock of Hamburg, N.Y.; 3 grandchildren: Brenna Birmingham, Dylan and Jamie Tylock; his brother Robert (Helen) Tylock and two sisters: Linda (Doug) Randall and Diane (Dan) Dennison: also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Walter is predeceased by: a son Curtis Tylock, 2 sisters: Joyce (late Gene) Austin and Marie (late Buddy) Header, and a brother Kenneth (Jean) Tylock.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, N.Y. where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am.
