Dear Mike,
My deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. I can share your pain. Remember that the Lord knows best and it was time for her to be reunited with your father, brother, and the rest of her family.
All pain and suffering are at an end. I am praying for you and we will get together next summer and share memories.
In Christ’s love,

Mrs. Burkland's daughter, Nancy, and I were close friends throughout junior high and high school. Mrs. Burkland was such a pleasant, gracious, and kind woman. She has been on my mind the last few months. And I am so sorry to hear of her passing.

While I only met Doris a few years a go, she was a really sweet Lady. She and I attended church together at First Baptist Church of Dunkirk, NY. She is missed.
