Obituary

Kim L . Cerrie, 63, of Eagle Street, Fredonia, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Brooks Memorial Hospital, as a result of a cardiac arrest. She was born February 25, 1957 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Jane Holcomb. Kim was a 1974 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. She was employed by Niagara Therapy and was a bank teller at M&T Bank before retiring to raise her children and eventually take care of her grandchildren. Kim was an avid reader, who enjoyed time with her family, watching her children and grandchildren play sports. But above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her husband of nearly 41 years, Robert M. Cerrie, Jr., whether it be watching football, putting together puzzles, or just going for a drive into the country.

Kim is survived by: her husband, Robert, who she married March 8, 1980. She was the proud mother of Chad (Jaime) Cerrie, and Michael (Brooke) Cerrie; grandmother of: Jay Cerrie, Jacob Cerrie, Kassidy Incitto, Lauren Cerrie, Mackenna Incitto, Alaina Incitto and Sebastian Cerrie.

She is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Brian Holcomb.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 5-8 pm at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, N.Y. COVID-19 regulations will on effect. Please wear a mask and maintain 6’ social distancing. Please expect delays as capacity is limited due to COVID-19 requirements. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions in Kim’s memory may be made to Brooks Memorial Hospital, 529 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY 14048 or the Fredonia Fire Dept., 80 W. Main Street, Fredonia, NY 14063. My sincere condolences for Kim’s passing. She was a childhood friend of mine on Cassadaga hill... my parents John and Dolores Fessenden were good friends of Roy and MaryJane. May your memories bring you comfort and peace.

To Bob, Chad, Mike, and all the family. I was so sorry to see of Kim’s passing. My sympathies and condolences to all. I believe I only met Kim once but a warm memory of her will be the wonderful plates of Christmas cookies she sent to ECR for Bob’s co-workers. Obviously a warm and caring lady! Take care all.
